
Alejandra Bouts
Alejandra acts for and advises clients in legal disputes. She focuses on restructuring, insolvency and corporate law. Before joining Ysquare, she worked nearly four years at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where she advised and acted for clients across various sectors, in particular in retail, banking, and oil and gas industry. Alejandra gained valuable experience as a court clerk with the Court of Appeal in the Hague (commercial dept.). Alejandra regularly publishes on insolvency law, and in particular on the Act on the “Dutch scheme” (WHOA) that entered into force in January 2021. She is an author at HERO (an online restructuring- and insolvency law journal). Alejandra is a member of the Dutch association for young insolvency lawyers (JIRA).
