Joaquim Roodheuvel

Joaquim specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration, and (cross-border) litigation.

Joaquim has worked on a variety of cases concerning investment protection, energy-related disputes, contractual disputes, and liability matters. He has acted as counsel in arbitrations under the rules of ICSID, NAI, ICC, and UNCITRAL. In addition, Joaquim regularly acts as counsel in national court proceedings.

Prior to joining Ysquare, Joaquim worked in the international litigation and arbitration practice of De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek for over six years. Finally, Joaquim lectures on international arbitration at the Vrije Universiteit.
