Floris Berkelder

Floris works in a wide range of commercial and corporate disputes including class actions, arbitrations, and summary proceedings.

As a student, Floris completed student traineeships at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and Stibbe. He obtained his master degree Private Law from Utrecht University with honors (cum laude). His Master’s thesis ‘The rule of thumb-technique for unforeseen circumstances: A judicial instrument to efficiently resolve indexation disputes over art. 6:258 Dutch Civil Code in commercial leases’ won the award for best thesis of 2023 by the DFA-association.
